Menopause in men- everything you need to know about it

It is known that women go through menopause after reaching a certain age which leads to certain mental and physical changes in them. But did you know that according to recent studies men also experience menopause once they hit the age of 55-60 years? A detailed check-up, including blood tests and diagnostic tests, may be carried out to detect any cardiovascular disease. Please go for a testosterone therapy, if your doctor recommends you to do so, although the success rate of this treatment is not crystal clear yet and needs more research. Please note that it can increase the risk of a blockage in the urinary path and you may also develop prostate cancer. There is a whole range of vitamins which are available on various online drugstores and claim to treat the problem of male menopause as it is one of the fastest growing health problems in the world. But, there are contradictory reviews about the use of such vitamins and herbs. According to some researchers, such supplements have not proven effective as the primary treatment for the decline in the testosterone level, and some of them can be really harmful if taken in inappropriate dosage.

Concluding it all, menopause in men is not proved to be a medical issue yet. It is more of the fusion of certain medical issues with decreasing number of testosterone in males. And this fusion makes the problem worse if combined with low self-esteem, guilt, and stress.
