Some people say, what's there to feel sad about someone who was not born? Well, a reason is not what a mother needs. A woman experiencing miscarriage may not have seen her baby, but every beat and pulse of the heart was felt. Women losing their child post a USG, may have also seen the growth and movements. All the dreams that an aspiring mother has, do not need a reason for going into a state of depression. The excitement is abruptly hindered and lost.
At this time of loss, a range of emotions strikes the mother’s mind. From sadness, grief, fear, suicidal thoughts to leaving friends and family for solace. Sleepless nights, no eating, and tears become the only friends once grief holds tight. These are not unnatural instances. The reaction to the loss is all-natural and should not be left untreated. This may pressurize the mind and cause stress-related issues that may completely negate the chances of conceiving anytime in the future.
The recovery from such an instance is different for every woman. It completely depends on the tenure of loss, coping capabilities and health of the mother. Losses that happen post 5 months of conception are hard to recover, but not impossible.
